Playbook & Skills

Cross-module resources that help you pick the right tool for the job.

QA Testing Playbook

The one-pager that explains when to use the QA Map vs. E2E Scripts vs. the Knowledge Skill. Includes pre-demo checklists for both M&D (~90 min) and Events (~80 min), per-ticket testing workflow, and example skill prompts.

⬇ Download Playbook (.docx)

Installing Knowledge Skills

The .skill files give Claude deep knowledge of each module. After downloading, install them in your Claude project:

1. Open your Claude Desktop project
2. Go to Project Settings → Skills
3. Click "Install Skill" and select the .skill file
4. The skill is now active — just ask questions naturally!

Example: "What happens when a member's dues invoice is prorated mid-year?" or "Can a ticket be deleted if registrations exist?"

Getting Started

New to the QA Hub? Here's how to make the most of these resources in 15 minutes.

Your First 15 Minutes

  1. 1
Pick your module Go to the Overview and click into Membership & Dues or Events.
  2. 2
Open the QA Map first (Step ① in each module) Spend 5 minutes browsing the Big Picture Map to understand how the module works, what the key entities are, and how data flows.
  3. 3
Run a test flow (Step ② in each module) Open the E2E Test Scripts and try the "Happy Path" flow (E2E-1). Follow the steps, use the pass/fail buttons, and get comfortable with the format.
  4. 4
Install the Knowledge Skill (Step ③ in each module) Download the .skill file and install it in your Claude project. Try asking: "What triggers a prorated invoice?" or "What are the three ticket types?"
  5. 5
Grab the Playbook Go to Playbook & Skills to download the QA Testing Playbook — it has pre-demo checklists and tells you when to use each tool.

When to Use What

  1. 🗺
QA Map — "I need to understand" How does proration work? What's the portal registration flow? Great for onboarding and building context before you test.
  2. E2E Test Scripts — "I need to execute" Pre-demo regression, sprint smoke tests, or verifying a complex flow works end-to-end. Follow the steps, check the boxes.
  3. 🧠
Knowledge Skill — "I need to ask" What should happen when I delete a ticket with registrations? What fields are required for batch invoicing? Instant answers from the docs.
  4. 📖
Playbook — "I need to decide" Which tool should I use? What do I run before a demo? The checklists tell you exactly what to run and in what order.
